Tudor Revival

When architect, designer, and builder share a vision of exemplary quality and are driven by a meticulous attention to detail, the result is a home like this dramatic Palo Alto tudor.

The existing three story Crescent Park home — originally built in 1913 — has been lovingly renovated to modern standards. This exceptional project carefully matches new custom mill work to the existing original trim, maintains consistency in fit and finish of all new and old hardware, and assures that the charm and craftsmanship of the old world lives on in the modern age. While every surface and piece of mill work throughout the house was fully refinished, the lion share of effort was devoted to the remodeling and reconfiguration of the kitchen, master bedroom, family room, children’s bedroom, and third floor library.

The last phase added a new garage with an adjoining exercise room, opening to a new pool with a custom tiled patio. The pictures tell the story best.
